Cessna reportedly hits snag in certifying Skycatchers in Europe
Cessna has put sales of its Skycatcher on hold in Europe after running into certification delays from the European Aviation Safety Agency, this feature says, citing the Wichita Business Journal. The light sport aircraft doesn't require a type or production certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration to be sold in the U.S., but the European agency requires both FAA certificates.
